I will be hiking into Coyote Buttes, in the Paria Canyon – Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness Area on the Utah / Arizona state border……..I have an email confirming my application for a hike into ‘The Wave’ has been accepted for the 14th of November 2010. Time to start organising flights & accom. etc. & researching location. Apparently ‘The Wave’ is not easy to find and it is not uncommon for search and rescue to be deployed to track down missing hikers. Hmmm…sounds interesting ! Better not forget the GPS!
